Job description:

We are looking for a Head of Ncardia brand to strengthen our commercial team. In this role, you will be responsible for not only the growth of Ncardia market presence and opportunity, but also for the adoption of iPSC technology in drug discovery generally from our position within that market. With industry and customer insights at the heart of our marketing activities, campaigns and strategies, you will contribute to the development of our Ncardia marketing strategy and will effectively implement and manage campaigns and tactics to strengthen the Ncardia brand. 
This position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and is positioned in Leiden, the Netherlands.

Are you our ideal candidate?

You are an accomplished marketing leader with demonstrable marketing experience. You have strong strategic, analytical and operational skills and a clear vision of how to position and grow the Ncardia brand in Europe and the US. You either have experience working as a marketer in pharma/biotech, or have a curious mindset and are eager to learn everything you need about this technical market. You dare to experiment (well-informed and -researched) with new tactics and channels. You have strong communication skills, and you get energy from sparring with colleagues and other key stakeholders.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage the Ncardia brand team.

  • Contribute to the development of the marketing strategy and translate that strategy into annual brand plans.

  • Implement and manage brand and above-brand campaigns with a strong focus on maximizing lead generation and building thought leadership.

  • Monitor, analyze and report campaign results to continuously drive improvement.

  • Manage Ncardia marketing budget.

  • Generate and share customer/competitor/market insights; evaluate to identify opportunities for business growth and competitive advantage.

  • Develop relationships with publishers, trade shows, industry leaders and other relevant affiliations.

Required experience and skills

  • 5-7 years of experience in brand management, preferably in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.

  • Experience in B2B marketing.

  • Experience in lead generation and building thought leadership to implement and manage successful brand campaigns.

  • A broad experience in different branding aspects, such as content, media planning and / or campaign management.

  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • CRM and marketing automation experience, Hubspot preferred

  • Strong oral, editing and written skills in English language.
