Ncardia develops, produces, and commercializes highly predictive human cardiovascular and neurological cellular assay systems. In addition, Ncardia develops and provides its customers with a broad portfolio of services from cardiovascular and neuronal disease modeling to target discovery and validation, primary or secondary drug screening, hit to lead and lead optimization, safety assessment, and pre-clinical patient stratification.

Roles & Responsibilities
Thanks to your experience in Information Technology, you will be the ideal addition to the company and will have a key relationship role in dealing with end users. The position involves setting up, managing, maintaining and troubleshooting technology systems, software, computers, servers and networks. The company's activities are spread over three different sites: Leiden (NL), Mont-Saint-Guibert (BE) and Gosselies (BE). The successful candidate will be based in The Netherlands and will report to the IT Director. Travels to Belgium is to be expected and will be less than 10% of the time.
Responsibilities include:
- Resolve user issues, requests and tickets submitted through the helpdesk system (~140 users)
- Install and configure desktop and laptop computers, networks and direct attached printers
- Install and configure laboratory equipments (computer part) according to vendors specs and company standards
- Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems and networks
- In collaboration and coordination with the IT Service Provider(s):
- Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot IT problems
- Install and update company software and hardware as needed
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, switches, network, and other enterprise equipmentAdministrate user access to systems
- Assist other IT Team members in the implementation of major system changes, network redesign and system integration
- Log and document activities and information using helpdesk software
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor degree in IT, computer science or equivalent certifications
- Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in similar position
- Experience in biotech or pharma industry is a plus
