User guide: NHP-C vCardiomyocytes

Written by Arie Reijerkerk, PhD | March 11, 2026

Ncyte® NHP-C vCardiomyocytes are fully functional cynomolgus non-human primate iPSC-derived ventricular-like cardiomyocytes, generated through a defined in vitro differentiation process. They express key cardiac markers such as cardiac Troponin T and alpha-actinin and provide a physiologically relevant cellular model for electrophysiology and cardiac research. Ncyte® NHP-C vCardiomyocytes are compatible with functional assays including MEA electrophysiology, imaging-based assays, and immunocytochemistry workflows

This protocol covers thawing, seeding, and maintenance when working with Ncyte® NHP-C vCardiomyocytes. Please read the entire User Guide carefully before starting thawing and culturing procedures to ensure optimal handling and experimental performance.
